Make a Difference,
The One Water SIE Challenge

PlayPump

Did you know that 1 billion people in the world don’t have access to clean water? Or that 2 million people die each year as a result of water related diseases?

One sell bottled water and all profits go to building the unique PlayPump® water systems in Africa which improve people's lives by providing free, clean water.

The Scottish Institute for Enterprise (SIE) provide events and services to encourage students to explore a world of opportunities, and discover their own potential so they can make a difference.

The Competition

The object of this competition is for students in Scotland to make One Water an instantly recognisable brand across Scotland - in just two months! The idea is simple. Working either as individuals or as part of a group you are to inspire and enthuse your University, its students, lecturers, staff and the population of the entire town or city where it is based to become advocates of One Water.

The winner will be the team or individual who can prove that they have sold the most bottles of One Water within the set timeframe.

The Prize

One person from the winning team, or the winning individual, will be taken out to Africa on a three-day trip, including economy return flights, to gain a fuller understanding of the water situation in Sub-Saharan Africa. They will be present at the installation of a One Water PlayPump at a school and personally see the difference that these fantastic roundabout water systems can make.

This is a once in a lifetime experience which will leave the most incredible and lasting memories.

Competition Closed

The competition is now closed. Details of the winners will be posted in the next few weeks. Many thanks for your interest in One Water, SIE and the One Water Challenge!
